How can I participate in Category Deals?
You can achieve more sales in a short period by participating in category deals, which run all year long. All you have to do is select a category deal from the Deals Page on Seller Lab, follow the 3 easy steps listed below to participate. Your products will be part of your chosen category deal campaign.
- Select a category deal on Seller Lab and enroll your products to it.
- Add your discounted prices based on the enrollment price suggested by noon, and update your deal stock
- Submit the SKUs for deal approval.
In this article, you'll find the steps to add your products to a category deal campaign one at a time and in bulk.
Before you get started
You should always ensure the following conditions are met for your product to be active in promotions:
- Items should be part of the categories included in the category deal campaign.
- The items' minimum and maximum price ranges should be updated
- Items should be added to a specific deal at least four (4) days before the promotion starts.
- Items should be active even if they are not live yet. They will be included once noon makes them live.

Am I eligible to participate in noon promotions?
Yes, all sellers on noon are eligible to participate in noon promotions, regardless of whether they are using FBN or FBP.
Get the Enrollment Price for the SKUs
The seller can enroll in any category deal they wish to participate in. To have a successful campaign and get the best result on the campaign, it is always suggested to get the enrollment price for the SKUs. The enrollment price is a recommended deal price by noon. However, you can set your deal price higher than the enrollment price.
Note:
- If you set your deal price less than or equal to the enrollment price, it helps you get the deal tag on the noon platform, which can help you get greater visibility.
- You can set the deal price more than the enrollment price, but you would miss out the deal tag on the platform. But the SKUs will still be enrolled in the deal.
You can get the enrollment price by following these simple steps.
- Click on Ads and Promotions and then click on Deals.
- In the deals page click on Imports, and then click on Enrollment price imports. Then click on Generate Prices.
- On the next step, click on Download template.
-Fill in the details requested in the Excel file, which include the deal code, partner ID, partner SKU, and the business model. Then save the file as CSV, TSV, or XLS.
- Go back to Price Generation import on the Seller Lab and upload the file. Then click on Submit.
- Once the enrollment price is ready, you will file the Excel file under the enrollment price import. You can click on Result to download the file with the enrollment price suggested by noon.
- In the Excel file, you will notice the price that is suggested by noon to be uploaded for the deal to get the deal tag.
How can I add products to a category deal one at a time?
You can enroll your SKUs for the category deal in a single upload following these simple steps.
- Click on the Ads and promotion, then click Deals.
- On the deals page, click on Category Deals. You will notice a button labeled 'About Category Deals' on the right side. Click on it.
- A pop-up appears showing you what category deals are and how you can be a part of them.
- In the deals page, you will notice all the category deals that are running on the platform. You can view the deal name, deal code, duration, and status. Select the deal you want to be a part of and click on Enroll.
- Here you will notice the details of the deals, which include the deal code, duration details, and the recommended category. You can search for the SKU you want to enroll and select it.
- The selected SKUs will move to the right side, and you will see the button labeled Next is activated. Click on it.
- In the next step, you are required to give the deal price and the deal stock that you want to enroll in this campaign. Then click on Submit.
Idea: We suggest you try to use the enrollment price as it ensures greater visibility and a deal tag.
Note: Always ensure that your discounted price is within the SKU minimum price and the Current Offer Price; otherwise, it won't be part of the promotion.
- A pop-up apppear requesting for your confirmation. Click on Yes, Submit to submit the SKUs for approval.
- The SKUs will be enrolled in the specific category deal. The status of the SKUs will be as per the table below.
How can I add products in bulk to Category deals?
You can also enroll the SKUs in the Category deal in bulk. To do that, you can follow these simple steps.
- Click on the Deals option under Ads and Promotion, then click on Imports. Under Imports, select the Deals Imports option and click on New Imports.
-On the next page, you need to find a button labeled Download Template. Click on it, and from the drop-down, click on Deal import.
- An excel file is downloaded and you need to update the requested details. You need to provide the deal code, partner ID, Partner SKU, deal price and stock , the business model and the marketplace code.
You can add all your SKUs that you want to add to a specific promotion to one single Excel sheet using the table format below:

Use the following definitions to understand each field in the above template:
| Field | Property |
| deal_code | the unique code used for a specific promotional campaign |
| id_partner | unique identification number of a noon seller |
| partner_sku | SKU used by the seller to list their product |
| deal_price | discounted price that is determined by the seller for a specific product that is part of a promotion |
| deal_stock | stock quantity that is determined by the seller for a specific product that is part of a promotion |
| mp_code | code of the marketplace in which the promotional event is taking place (noon / KUL / SIVVI / grocery) |
- Once you fill in the details and save the file as CSV, TSV or XLS, you need to head back to the seller lab and upload the file. Then, finally, click on Submit.
- The sheet will be submitted and will appear under the Deals Import page. The status column will show if the sheet is pending, imported ( which means successful), or failed.
Note: If the sheet upload fails, you need to re-upload the file after fixing the errors.
How to fix the errors and take other action on participated deals?
If the SKU is rejected or faces an error when enrolled for a deal you can fix it by following these steps.
- Click on the Deals page and click on the My Deals option. All the deals you have participated in will appear on the screen. Click on View details.
- You will see the status of the SKUs. You can click on the (?) icon to see the exact rejection reason. You can fix the reason to take the deal live.
-You also have an option to edit the stock and price details. Click on the Edit button.
- A pop-up appears on the screen, and you can update the price and stock of the SKU, then click on Save Changes.
-You also have an option to add more SKUs to the same campaign using the Add SKU option. And then upload the SKU in single or bulk upload.
