How to apply for a Trade License in Dubai
For any business, it is very important to adhere to local laws and government regulations. This involves obtaining all the necessary documents to operate legally within the country.
In this article, we will guide you through a step-by- step process of how your can apply and get a Trade license via Dubai Authority.
Step 1: Open this website - https://www.visitdubai.com/en/invest-in-dubai, and click on open your business. Choose the details as per your business which includes you business idea, number or partners, business type and the type of license.
Step 2: Now create an account to login or login with UAE Pass.
Step 3: In the next Dashboard, click on start a business and reserve a Trade name.
Step 4: Select your business activity which you are conducting.
Step 5: Provide the details of your partner. This step will confirm if you are an Individual Partner or Corporate Partner.
Step 6: Select your Legal type, if its a sole establishment or a limited liability company or any other type of establishment.
Step 7: In the next step you need to select the License type, which confirm what license you are applying for.
Step 8: In the next step you need to provide the email ID and phone number for the License Profile and get it verified with an OTP.
Step 9: Now you will have to provide the partner details about the partnership sharing details, managing authority and the bank authority.
Step 10: Provide the beneficiary owner details, income source and the political exposure details.
Step 11: Then you will requested to pay the initial approval fees to get the initial approval certificate.
Step 12: Now you will have to provide your trade name (in english), update the transliteration and check the availability. If the trade name is available confirm it to proceed further.
Step 13: Select the type of your business location and confirm it.
Step 14: Now you will have the sign the Memorandum or Association (MOA).
Step 15: You will be requested to pay the Final License fees and the PDF of the License Certificate.
Step 16: Provide the external regulator approval and once it is approved you will be notified about it.
Step 17: Apply for the following documents and approvals
1.Apply for Establishment Card from General Directory of Residency and Foreigners’ Affairs (GDRFA).
2.Apply for Establishment Card from Ministry of Human Resource and Emiratization (MOHRE).
3.Get payment voucher and make required payment.
4.Wait for approval of the entry permit.
5.Visit any DHA health care center for medical test.
6.Get your Emirates ID and Residency Visa.
Step 18: Finally, select the bank of your choice and open a bank account by an authorized member. Submit your application and wait for bank's approval. This will conclude the process of creating a Trade License with Dubai Authority.
