How to Accept Return Manifest from the Seller Lab?

Understanding the process of accepting and receiving returns efficiently is crucial for maintaining smooth operations. In this article, we will discuss how to receive various types of returns through your Seller Lab account, such as customer-initiated returns, non-deliverable returns (NDRs) due to customer unresponsiveness and return-to-vendor (RTV) requests. You can also accept the packing material deliveries through this process.

Accepting the returns from noon through Seller Lab

Note:
1. You can only accept the returns from the Seller Lab if your warehouse platform is Web. You can refer this article to learn how to change you warehouse platform.
2. If you prefer to accept the returns from the application, you can refer to this article.

To accept the returns, you can follow these simple steps.
- Click on Fulfilled by Partner, then click on Returns Manifestation


- You will be redirected to the next page, where you will see all the manifest you have accepted in the past. 


- Select the correct warehouse for which the return is sent. Then, click on Receive Manifest button to start accepting the returns. 


- A pop-up will appear which will show the QR code for the warehouse.  You need to show the QR code to the delivery agent to scan it. 


- Then the delivery agent will provide the return manifest QR code on his device. It is important to have a 2-D barcode scanner for this step. Scan the QR code provided by the delivery agent and click on Go To Manifest Page button.


- This will open the manifest details page where the details of the manifest and the expected shipment count will be visible. Click on Accept Manifest button and then click on Submit button in the pop-up to accept the manifest.


- Now you can click on Start Receiving button.


- This will open a pop-up from the left-side to scan the return shipment using a 2-D barcode scanner.  


Once the shipment is scanned a green success message will appear and the AWB will reflect under the shipments section. The shipment's field will be empty and you can continue scanning other shipments.


Reporting a Damage

If a returned item has an external damage or any other issue, follow these steps to report it.
Note:
1. Ensure you have accepted the item before reporting any damage.
2. You cannot report damage if the manifest is marked as Complete.
- In the Manifest Details page, click on Action button. Click on Report Damage Pkg option. 


- A pop-up appears from the side where you are requested to scan the shipment number of the damaged shipment. Then you are requested to attach few photos of the product, then click on Upload Images button.  Finally, click on Submit button to complete reporting the damage.
Note: Photos should be taken on a smartphone or tablet and then transferred to your PC or laptop for uploading. 


- Once the shipment is marked as damaged, the shipment will show the status as Damage Reported and you will be able to view the images you uploaded.
Note:  After reporting the damage, you must raise a dispute in Seller Lab within 14 days of receiving the item.

Complete Packing

You'll need to mark complete receiving the manifest only once all the shipments in the manifest are accepted. This will look like the below screenshot. 


You can use complete packing action by following these simple steps.
 In the Manifest Details page, click on Action button. Then click on Complete Packing option. 


- A green success message will appear on the screen. In the Manifest Details section you will see the status of the manifest, user details who packed or unpacked the manifest, date/ time stamps and the expected packages.
