This article provides a comprehensive walkthrough for creating and managing a warehouse on noon's Seller Lab, which is a crucial step for sellers to efficiently manage stock and activate products on noon.com. The process includes warehouse creation, setting preferences, and selecting your fulfillment mode.
How to create the warehouse?
In order to create the warehouse, you can simply follow these simple steps.
- Click on Fulfilled by Partner and then click on Warehouse.
- Click on Create Directship Warehouse.
- Provide the name for your warehouse and select the country where the warehouse is located. Then click on Create Warehouse.
- The warehouse is created; however, it is inactive as we have to complete the configuration.
Setting the Fulfillment mode
Once the warehouse is created you can proceed to set the fulfillment mode.
- In the Warehouse Setting page, click on the Fulfillment mode section.
- You will notice two modes of fulfillment, i.e., the single packer and the multi packer. To know about the single and multi-packer modes, refer to this
article. Once you make the selection, click on
Save Changes to confirm.
How to set up the Warehouse General Configuration?
Once the fulfillment mode is selected, you need to set the general configuration. Follow these steps to complete the setup .
- Click on Warehouse General Configuration in the warehouse settings.
- In the next step, you need to first update the processing time. Click on Add Processing Time button.
Processing time is the time you need to hand over packed shipments to noon
- In the pop-up that appears, select the processing time from the drop-down and click on Submit.
- The next section you need to update is the delivery model of the warehouse. Click on Add Delivery Model.
- In the pop-up that appears, select the delivery model that best suits your business. Then click on Submit.
You will notice 2 delivery models in the drop-down
1. Noon Domestic Logistics Non-Bulky (UAE / KSA / EG- based on your warehouse country) — Choose this to let Noon handle your logistics. For non-bulky items.
2. Noon International Logistics (UAE / KSA ) - For global shipping.
- Once the delivery model is selected, the status is inactive.
Setting your Warehouse Address and Preferences
To complete the warehouse setup, you need to follow these simple setup.
- Once you click on the delivery model, you will be redirected to the configuration. Click on Delivery Details.
- You will have to provide the Contact person's name for the warehouse and verify the email ID with an OTP.
- Upon entering the OTP, click on verify code to complete the verification.
- Next, you need to update and verify the phone number with an OTP as well, and click on verify code.
- Next, you need to scroll down and update the pin location and address details. Select the pin location on the map and click on Confirm Location.
- In the next step, you need to provide complete and accurate details of your warehouse and then click on Save Changes.
- You will be redirected to the shipping settings. Click on Handover Type.
- Select pickup if you want the shipment to collected from the warehouse of select drop-off to drop the shipment using your own logistics to noon warehouse. Then click on Save Changes.
- You will be redirected back to the Shipping Setting page. Click on Manifestation Type.
- You will see two type of manifest option, the count-based manifest or the open manifest. . Select your preferred option and click on Save Changes.
- Count-based Manifestation: Create manifests with a set number of shipments.
- Open Manifestation: Create manifests without shipment count limits.
- You will be redirected to the Shipping settings page again. Click on Return to Origin to set up your preference.
- Select the method which you want to receive the return (RTOs). You can select 'pickup' if you're going to collect the stock from the noon warehouse using your own logistics, or you can select the 'drop-off' option, and noon will deliver the stock to your warehouse.
- Once all 4 sections are completed and saved, the delivery model becomes Active. When the delivery model details are completed, its status will change from “Inactive” to “Active.”
- Once you get back to the warehouse setting, the warehouse status will change from Inactive to Active.
Adding or Editing the Holidays
You can add your holidays in the warehouse setting which will allow us to better understand your operating days and help us offer clear delivery estimates to the customer. You can add the the holidays by following these simple steps.
- Click on Add more holidays.
- In the pop-up that appears, enter the name of the holiday and select the dates for which you want to set the holidays. Then click on Submit.
- The holidays are added to the holidays section. You notice two type of holidays
- Fulfillment Holidays — No order processing during these dates.
- Logistics Holidays — No pickups or drop-offs during these dates.
- You can click on the Edit or Delete button to make the changes to your holidays.
- If you click on Edit button, a pop-up appear where you make the edits and click on Confirm. The changes will be reflecting in the holidays.
- If you want to delete the holiday, you can click on the Delete button and in the pop-up to confirm the selection click on the red Delete Holiday button. This will delete the holiday.
