- In the settings, under Delivery Model, click on Add Delivery Model.

- In the pop-up that appears, select the model type as Direct Delivery |AE Marketplace |Bulky item.

- Then click on Submit to update your selection.

- In the setting, the delivery model will be Inactive as of now. Click on it to fill in the required information.

- In the shipping settings, click on Delivery Area, which is in pending status.

- On the next page, you will see the option to select the location where you can deliver the items. You can either select the predefined polygons saved in the system by selecting them as shown in the screenshot.

- You can also use the option of Custom Area and draw the desired area as per your convenience.

- When you complete drawing the polygon, just double-click on the last point to confirm the area.

- You also have an option to use a KML file, if you have the geofencing done for your delivery area on a third-party platform. Just click on Upload KML file.

- In the pop-up that appears, select the KML file from your device and click on Confirm

- Once the area is selected, you will see the area on the right side under the Active Areas section. You can update your Delivery Promise, which is the timeframe for delivering the item to the customer, and also adjust the Shipping fees that the customer will incur to have the item delivered to their location.

InfoNote: Providing a Delivery Promise is a mandatory requirement as the delivery estimate will depend on it. However, the shipping fee is an optional field.

- Once you have confirmed these details, just proceed to click on Save Configuration to confirm your selection.

How to edit the Custom Area?

In order to edit the area you selected with the custom area option, simply follow these simple steps.

- Click on the polygon you drew on the Map.

- You can adjust the area by clicking and moving the points you drew earlier. Then click on Done Editing to confirm the new area.

What are the other actions you can take?

Once your delivery area is set up, you will be able to take the following actions in the settings.

- You can click on the More options under the active areas section. You will see an option to Rename or Delete the area.
InfoNote: If you click on delete, the areas you select will be deleted immediately.

- When you click on Rename, you will be moved to the next step, and you can rename the selected area as per your convenience and need. Then click on Save to apply the changes.

-You can also set up an order value for free shipping. Just click on the toggle button for Free delivery on the right side.

- A pop-up appears, and you can enter the minimum order value that the customer needs to order to get free shipping. Then click on Confirm.

- The free shipping will be activated, and any customer ordering more than the minimum order value will get free delivery.

Issues you may notice.

You may notice only one issue when creating the delivery areas.

- In case you save the setting without selecting a delivery area, you will notice a prompt indicating that you are saving an empty delivery area. This will result in deactivating the Direct delivery model for the current warehouse. So please ensure you select a delivery area before saving the configuration.
